Born in Portugal, Cristiana began her directing career at the age of 21 in London, with a short film about Burlesque stripper Dita Von Teese that got her a nomination as Best Newcomer in the Rushes Film Festival. Her initial success led to a second documentary for the Discovery Channel about Rainer Fetting.

From here, Cristiana quickly moved into the world of commercials. Her first ad was for Johnnie Walker and after that, with high profile clients such as Land Rover, Samsung, Jockey and shot celebrity campaigns for Adidas, Citroen, Burberry, SKIII, Credit Suisse and L’Oréal, among others.

She’s worked with various sports celebrities: Lionel Messi, Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Mika Hakinnen, the Arsenal Football team and Roger Federer – to name a few. Her intimate shooting style is also present in her beauty reel where she has shot various other international celebs
